Studies of electromagnetic radiation of "Underfloor heating" systems

When the technogenic era began, humanity began to encounter more and more different types of radiation. And, accordingly, more and more people began to learn about various types of radiation: radioactive, ultraviolet, infrared, X-ray, magnetic and electromagnetic radiation in general. Unfortunately, the decisive factors in the formation of the reputation of various radiations played their impact on health. Moreover, as a rule, the information boom arose only after another technological disaster. In this regard, many people have a stable opinion about the harm of all kinds of radiation. Of course, in many cases these people are right, radioactive radiation, for example, is really dangerous for our body, and it should be avoided in every possible way.

Natural ultraviolet and infrared radiation in moderation helps a person to develop substances necessary for health and improve microcirculation, which means to increase immunity.

For example, CHTK infrared heating panels emit infrared thermal energy. The principle of operation of an infrared heating panel is similar to how the Sun heats the Earth: a uniform radiant flow of infrared energy heats objects, surfaces and a person.

Another aspect that concerns many buyers of electric heaters and Underfloor heating systems should be touched upon – this is electromagnetic radiation (EMR), what its level should be and how dangerous it is for human health. All household appliances operating using electric current are sources of electromagnetic fields.

A modern house is crammed with electrical appliances

The most powerful sources of electromagnetic fields should be recognized as microwave ovens, aerogrills, refrigerators with a “no frost” system, kitchen hoods, electric stoves, powerful wi-fi routers.

The human body always reacts to the electromagnetic field. However, in order for this reaction to develop into pathology and lead to disease, a number of conditions must coincide – including a sufficiently high field level and the duration of irradiation. Therefore, when using household appliances with low levels of EM fields and/or for a short time, the EM field of household appliances does not affect the health of the majority of the population.

According to modern concepts, an industrial frequency magnetic field can be dangerous to human health if prolonged irradiation occurs (regularly, at least 8 hours a day, for several years) with a level above 0.2 µT.

Independent specialists from the "Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology" conducted tests of CHTK underfloor heating, during which the most powerful heating mats laid under porcelain stoneware and turned on "permanently" were tested by a large number of EMR measurements at different points directly on the floor surface with a special trusted device "BE-meter". According to the same methodology, tests were carried out on Chinese and "pseudo-Russian" underfloor heating with a primitive screen, which have appeared in large abundance on the Russian market recently.

More than encouraging results were obtained for the warm floors of the CHTK – 0.2 µT, which cannot be said about Chinese and "pseudo-Russian" underfloor heating, the level of magnetic field induction of which ranged from 0.28 to 0.4 µT.

Moreover, it remains a mystery — how did the manufacturers of Chinese and OEM "pseudo-Russian" underfloor heating receive the EAC safety certificate for their products?

The design of the CHTK heating cable consists of two heating conductive cores (1) insulated with sewn PE (2), combined in a common design with a special reinforced screen made of dense braided copper wires (4) or a double screen (3,4) protected by a heat-resistant shell (5).

Consequently, heating mats and heating sections of the CHTK, thanks to the reinforced screen, protect against EMR by more than 30% better and more efficient than analogues.

And if we take into account that we walk barefoot on a warm floor, sit or lie on the floor, and for our children the floor is almost a permanent place of pastime, then the choice of the "Underfloor heating" system should be obvious – it should be heating mats or heating sections with a reinforced screen, reliable insulation and a heat-resistant shell.

The same unique properties — low EMR, heat-resistant shell and resistance to aggressive environments have all products of electric cable heating systems CHTK.
